This heavy duty replacement office chair tilt mechanism features a 10.2" long x 6" wide screw Mounting Holes Center Distance pattern. The maximum length is 10.4", and the minimum length is 9.7".
It is constructed of 0.1" thickened steel bracket that can withstand heavyweights and hold up to 450 lbs. This mechanism is designed to work with standard tapered gas lift cylinders. Simply twist the hand wheel to tighten or loosen the tilt tension.
This tilt control mechanism is perfect for replacing and repairing the original swivel chair, making the old chair reusable and stronger. The tilt control feature allows you to push the lever in to lock the tilt, and pull it out to unlock it.
